Remains of Newborn Baby Found in New York City Water Treatment Facility

NEW YORK, NY – the New York City Police Department is investigating after body parts from a newborn infant were found inside a water treatment center in the Bronx.

According to police, on August 31, at 8:34 AM, inside the Hunts Point Pollution Treatment Center located at 1270 Ryawa Ave in the Bronx, infant remains were found inside the screening process building.

Initial reports claimed that police found parts of a human leg from the knee down that apparently belonged to a newborn infant baby. At this time the New York City Police Department is awaiting the medical examiner’s report to officially confirm the grisly find.

According to police investigating the incident, no suspects or motives have been announced at this time. No arrests have been made.
