New York City Police investigating robbery at Central Park West station

NEW YORK, NY – New York City Police Department investigated a robbery that took place on September 1st inside the 86th Street and Central Park West station in Manhattan. According to police at 1:15 a.m. an unknown suspect approached a woman and removed her property. Police did not report any injuries during this incident but are now searching for the suspect wanted for this robbery.

The suspect was captured on a subway video surveillance system wearing a red hat with sunglasses, a black face mask, a backpack, black shorts, and a black long-sleeve shirt while walking through the turnstile to exit the station.

According to police investigating the incident, no suspects or motives have been announced at this time. No arrests have been made.
