Glen Burnie Checkers Robbed at Gunpoint

GLEN BURNIE, MD – Police police are investigating after an unknown man entered a Checkers restaurant in Glen Burnie, pulled a gun and demanded cash from the safe.

On Friday, at approximately 12:55 a.m., officers responded to a robbery at the Checkers restaurant located at 1417 Crain Highway in Glen Burnies.

“An unknown male suspect entered the store, displayed a handgun, and ordered the employees to open the safe. The employees complied, and the suspect fled with an undetermined amount of cash. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect,” police aid.

No injuries were reported as a result of this incident. Robbery Unit detectives are investigating and ask anyone with information to contact 410-222-4720.

According to police investigating the incident, no suspects or motives have been announced at this time. No arrests have been made.
