PITTSBURGH, PA – The Pittsburgh Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place Friday afternoon at around 3 p.m in the area of Keystone Street and McCandless Avenue. A 911 call was made regarding a shots-fired incident in the Lawrenceville area.
Upon their arrival, police learned that an adult female was struck in the arm. The woman was taken to the hospital prior to police arrival. She was admitted and is listed in stable condition.
There is one person in custody at this time, but police have not announced any names or charges.
