New York City Police Fear Mother Drowned Her Three Kids at Coney Island Beach

NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police Department today announced the death of three children who were found unresponsive on the beach in Coney Island. Today, sources within the New York City Police Department said detectives are investigating the grisly possibility that the children’s mother might have drowned them.

The New York City Police Department reported to the Brighton Beach boardwalk in the area of beach 6th Street at around 3 a.m. This morning. According to police, a 911 call was received from a relative of the woman worried that she may have drowned her children in the ocean.

Farmer arrival, police found three children, a three-month-old boy, a four-year-old girl, and a seven-year-old boy, unresponsive on the beach near West 35th Street.

After providing life-saving Medical Services on the scene, the three children were rushed to Coney Island Hospital. They were pronounced dead at around 5:38 am.

The mother of the children was taken into custody by officers from the 60th Precinct as the investigation continues. At this time no charges were filed and police detectives are continuing their investigation into the incident.
