Baltimore Police Make Arrest in Stabbing Death of 63 Year-Old Man

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND- The Baltimore Police Department has announced the arrest of a 33-year-old man responsible for the murder of 63-year-old Keith Bell on September 6th.

According to detectives, “At approximately 2:28 am., Eastern District patrol officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of East Monument Street to investigate reports of an unconscious male lying in the street. When officers arrived at the location, they observed 63-year-old Keith Bell suffering from multiple stab wounds. The victim was transported by ambulance to Johns Hopkins Hospital and pronounced dead by medical personnel. Through the course of their investigation, Homicide detectives were able to identify a suspect and obtain an arrest warrant.”

33-year-old Gordon Staron was arrested on Thursday and charged with 1st Degree Murder. He is being held at the Baltimore City Central Booking Intake Facility.
