Two Wanted for Burglary in Newark

NEWARK, NJ – The Newark police department of searching for two suspects wanted in connection with a burglary that took place on Saturday, September 3rd.

According to the Newark police department, officers responded to a call of a burglary at a residence in the 200 block of Rose Street.

“The victim reported that two men arrived at the residence, which is under renovation, and removed an HVAC unit, a vanity, an electric saw, and other equipment and materials before fleeing on foot, heading west on Rose Street towards Brenner Street pushing a silver cart,” the Newark police department said in a statement. “Detectives investigating this incident seek the public’s help in identifying the two suspects, who were both wearing green traffic vests. One of the suspects identified himself as “Mike.” The second suspect is described as approximately 5’7” tall and 140 pounds. He was wearing a burgundy hat, a black hooded sweatshirt, and burgundy sweatpants.”
