Police Arrest Man Who Struck and Strangled 17-Year-Old in Jackson Township

JACKSON TOWNSHIP, PA – Police in Northern York County have arrested an18-year-old man who was wanted for the strangulation and harassment of a seventeen-year-old girl.

The incident took place on August 25th at around 1:36 am.

The Northern York County Regional Police Department investigated an assault in the 1100 block of Pine Court, Jackson Township.

“The investigating officers determined that during an argument Adam Lee Harvey struck and strangled a 17 year old female. The female did not seek medical treatment,” police said. “Adam Lee Harvey, age 18, has an active felony warrant out for his arrest. He is charged with Strangulation, Harassment, Purchase, Consumption, Possession or Transportation of Liquor or Malt Brewed Beverages, and Public Drunkenness.”
