Galloway Township Promotes Police Officers

GALLOWAY, NJ – At last night’s council meeting, Mayor Tony Coppola swore in three officers for promotions. Chief Rich Barber announced each officer and presented a short bio to all in attendance. Special guest Atlantic County Prosecutor Will Reynolds read the oath of office to each officer.

Surrounded by family and friends, the following officers were officially sworn in:

Lieutenant Eric Hendrickson was promoted to the rank of Captain.

Sergeant First Class Scott Winneberger was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant.

Sergeant Patrick Neal was promoted to the rank of Sergeant First Class.

“The men and women of the Galloway Township Police Department congratulate all three of these outstanding officers on their new positions,” the department said in a statement.
