Hurricane Fiona makes landfall in southwestern Puerto Rico

People prepare for the arrival of Hurricane Fiona in Puerto Rico

(Reuters) – Hurricane Fiona made landfall in southwestern Puerto Rico on Sunday, the U.S. National Hurricane Center (NHC) said.

The hurricane had maximum sustained winds of 85 mph (140 km/h), NHC said.
