Biden Slammed After Saying Inflation Up “Just an Inch”

U.S. President Joe Biden delivers remarks in the Rose Garden at the White House

WASHINGTON, DC – After saying inflation was up just an inch this week in a 60 Minutes interview, political pundits slammed President Joe Biden’s tone-deaf response to rampant inflation in America.

After being told the annual inflation rate was reported at 8.3%, Joe Biden said Americans need to put inflation in perspective.

“First of all, let’s put this in perspective,” the President said. “Inflation rate month to month is up just an inch, hardly at all.”

Biden is presiding under the highest inflation rate in America in over 40 years.

“I got that,” he said. “But guess where we are. We’re in a position where for the last several months, it hasn’t spiked and has been barely, basically even.”
