JACKSON, NJ – On Tuesday, a multi-agency SWAT operation was conducted in northern Ocean County and southern Monmouth County. Residences in Jackson, Howell, and Lakewood have been targeted in what local police call simply serving warrants.

Officials would not speak publicly on the subject matter or targets of the multiple agency operations, but heavy vehicles and armed SWAT team members were deployed to various homes in those communities.

Police would also not comment on whether or not the operations in each town were part of an organized, larger multi-agency operation.

This is a breaking news story; we will update it as local, county, and state officials release information on the raids.
