Wawa Offers $5,000 Reward Man Who Robbed Multiple Stores

PHILADELPHIA, PA – After several robberies at multiple Wawa stores in Philadelphia, the company announced today they are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect responsible for these robberies.

According to the Philadelphia Police Department, on September 8, at 11:00 pm an unknown black or Hispanic male entered the WAWA located at 4506 Castor Avenue armed with a handgun demanding money.

“After taking approximately $250 the suspect fled in an unknown direction. The same suspect also robbed the WAWA located at 7001 Roosevelt Blvd on September 11, 2022, at 5:00 am with a handgun and after taking approximately $200 he fled in an unknown direction,” the department said.

The suspect is described as a back or Hispanic male, early 50s, 5’9”-6’, 180-220lbs, bald, black shirt with an astronaut helmet on the front, black shorts, black and white sneakers, blue long sleeve shirt white writing, gray shorts, white sneakers.
