Columbus Police Investigating Smash and Grab at Hobby Shop

On September 7, 2022, at approximately 5:09 a.m., a male suspect smashed the front glass door of a hobby shop located in the 5700 block of Emporium Square. The suspect is captured on video taking two radio-controlled cars from the store and then exiting through the broken door.

The suspect returned to the store less than 45 minutes later to take another radio-controlled car from the business. This time, the suspect failed to cover his face with a mask.
