Trenton police make multiple gun-related arrests

TRENTON, NJ – With gun violence erupting throughout the state capital, Trenton police have reported this week that several people were arrested in connection with recent shootings.

Police announced that Jasper Church was arrested for his role in a shooting on Lamberton Street along with Black Allah, who was found with a handgun during the shooting investigation.

In another shooting, a man was struck by gunfire in the area of Oliver Avenue. Three men were arrested and charged for that shooting, including Davion Smith, Quamere Forney, and Kyle Silvis/

A third successful shooting investigation led to the arrest of Kyle Silvis, who was charged with shooting at a vehicle that was driving down Oliver Street, striking the driver. That shooting also caused a motor vehicle crash.

Kylie Silvis, who was arrested for the other Oliver Avenue shooting was slapped with additional charges for the second shooting.

“Detectives have been working diligently around the clock to solve crimes that occurred within the city,” the department said during their announcement of these shooting involved arrests.
