19-year-old shot and killed in Atlantic City

Atlantic City, NJ-A nineteen-year-old Mays Landing man was shot and killed, and another was shot multiple times on Sunday in Atlantic City. According to police, officers responded to 1009 Pacific Avenue after reports of two victims with multiple gunshot wounds all reported.

Both victims were treated at the scene of the shooting and transported to a nearby hospital emergency room. The Atlantic City Police Department reported that one of the males, Malae Johnson, 19, of Mays Landing, was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit is now investigating the shooting as an active homicide investigation.
