Driver Crashes Car Dead In D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Right before the clock struck midnight on Friday morning, D.C. police officers responding to a report of the sound of gunshots discovered an overturned vehicle that had just crashed.

45-year-old Harold Blair III of D.C., was found inside the crashed vehicle. According to police, he suffered from severe trauma due to the crash and was pronounced by the medical examiner on the scene.

His body was brought to the medical examiner’s office, where an autopsy was performed. It was determined that Blair’s death was caused by a gunshot wound and blunt force trauma. His death was ruled a homicide.

This incident happened in Northeast, D.C. on the 700 Block of Kenilworth Terrace. The investigation remains ongoing.
