Restaurant burglary suspect sought in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA –  Philadelphia Police Department is searching for a burglary suspect that broke into the Jasmine Rice Restaurant located at 306 S. 16th St. early Thursday morning.  According to police, a suspect identified as a male wearing dark clothing and a surgical mask frosted glass on the front door and gained entry to the business at around 2:30 a.m. Once inside, the suspect rummaged through the restaurant’s back office but did not find anything of value to take. The suspect left the business and fled the scene in an unknown direction.

Police are now asking the public to assist in identifying the suspect.
