15-year-old shot during argument in New York City

NEW YORK –

A 15-year-old male was shot in the ankle after an argument inside a Bronx convenience store Friday night according to the New York City Police Department. Police said the incident happened at around 11 p.m. in the Castle Hill Neighborhood in the Bronx when the teenager engaged in a verbal dispute with two suspects before one of them reached for his gun and shot him.

New York City Police Department released video footage of the incident showing the two suspects who are now wanted for the shooting. Police are asking anybody who may be able to identify the suspects to contact the NYPD Crime Stoppers.

The teenager was taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
