Suspect arrested in Belcamp stabbing

Belcamp, MD- The Harford County Sheriff’s office has announced the arrest of 30-year-old Timothy Mark Humes of Aberdeen for the non-fatal stabbing of 62-year-old Tommy Boone of Georgia on Monday.

According to police, the two men entered the Riverside Shopping Center and began engaging in an argument. At some point during the argument, Humes stabbed Boone multiple times in the upper body.

Humes fled the area after the stabbing, and Boone drove himself to a nearby Holiday Inn where he was staying before driving to Harford Memorial Hospital for treatment of his injuries.

The incident happened at around 2:24 p.m., and I’m Tuesday, police located Humes’ vehicle at the same Holiday Inn. Humes barricaded himself into a second-floor hotel room when police arrived. After negotiating for three hours, police made entry into the room and took him into custody without incident.
