One shot in Virginia Beach Friday Afternoon

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – The Virginia Beach Police reported that one person was shot in the 3800 block of LaSalle Drive. According to police at around 3:50 p.m., Friday, a department received a call about a gunshot victim with non-life-threatening injuries.

Upon their arrival, police took one suspect into custody. Detectives are working to identify other possible and individuals involved in the shooting.

Police did not release the identity of the victim or the suspect in this shooting. Virginia police department has not released any further information regarding this event. This is a breaking news story and an ongoing investigation.
