New Castle – A 41-year-old man was shot in the parking lot of the Paradigm sports bar located at 3800 North Dupont Highway Friday morning at around 1:31 a.m.
According to police, state troopers responded to the bar after receiving calls of a shooting incident outside.
Upon arrival, police found a 41-year-old Wilmington man had suffered a gunshot wound to his right leg. He was taken to an area hospital where he was treated for his injuries. No other injuries were reported during the shooting.
Police have not released the information regarding any suspects, and at this time, no surveillance video or photos are available, according to the Delaware State Police.
