33-year-old man shot and killed in Trenton

A 33-year-old man was shot and killed Sunday afternoon in the area of Kersey Alley

TRENTON, NJ – A 33-year-old man was shot and killed Sunday afternoon in the area of Kersey Alley in Trenton. Police were notified of the shooting via a shot spotter alert at around 3:10 p.m.

The alert notified police of multiple gunshot wounds in the area of the first block of Ewing Street.

Upon arrival, officers found an adult male lying on the ground and Kersey Alley suffering from a single gunshot wound to the shoulder.

Daquan Brown, 33, of Trenton, was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later, according to Casey DeBlasio a public information officer for the Mercer County prosecutor’s office.
