Philadelphia, PA- Three members of the Philadelphia Police Department SWAT team were shot at around 6:30 a.m. this morning executing a search warrant at a home in North Philly.

Three officers were rushed to Jefferson University Hospital, where they are being treated for non-life-threatening injuries. All three officers are listed in stable condition at this time.

The shooting took place at a home on North 10th Street near Brown Street. Early reports say one officer was shot in the chest. The other two officers were shot in the lower extremities.

Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney this morning said all of the officers are doing well, and the officer that was shot in the chest was wearing a ballistic vest.

At the time of the shooting, police were serving a warrant on a 19-year-old suspect wanted for a homicide in August and two armed robberies, according to Deputy Police Commissioner John Stanford.

The Philadelphia Police Department has not released the name of the suspect or the names of the officers wounded during the shooting.
