Man shot multiple times by gunmen in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Two men exited a silver Nissan Maxima at the intersection of Wayne Avenue and Logan Street in Philadelphia on Wednesday and opened fire on a man getting into his car nearby.

The Philadelphia Police Department are investigating the targeted incident that left a male adult victim with multiple gunshot wounds to the back.

The suspects got back into their car and fled south on Wayne Avenue towards Abbottsford Avenue.

The victim was struck twice in the back and transported to Einstein Hospital by responding officers. His condition is unknown at this time.

The suspects were described as black males wearing black hooded jackets and gloves. One was armed with a handgun and the other with a rifle.

No arrests have been made.
