Silver Alert: Newark police searching for missing 89-year-old woman

Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé seeks the public’s help in locating Juanita Walker, 89, who was reported missing on Wednesday, October 26, 2022.

Ms. Walker was last seen at 4 p.m. in the 100 block of Goodwin Avenue. She is driving a white Hyundai with NJ Registration No. ERR60R. Ms. Walker is wearing a brown coat, a black hat, and black pants.

Detectives investigating this incident seek the public’s help in quickly locating Ms. Walker so that she can be reunited with her family. She is described as 5’4” tall and 155 pounds. She has a light brown complexion, gray and black hair, and brown eyes.

Director Fragé urges anyone with information about the whereabouts of Ms. Juanita Walker to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
