Gunman shoots at Pittsburgh cop Wednesday night

PITTSBURGH – A Pittsburgh Police Department detective was shot at Wednesday night in the area of Roslyn Street and Milligan Avenue in Swissvale while conducting an investigation in the neighborhood.

At around 8 pm, vice and narcotics detectives were investigating an incident when a gunshot rang out. The shot missed a detective and two unidentified males were seen fleeing the area on foot after the gunshot.

Police from multiple jurisdictions responded. A search for the perpetrators was unsuccessful.
