LINDEN, NJ – The southbound lanes of Route 1 south have been closed to traffic in the area of Avenue C. Police are investigating a motor vehicle crash that occurred shortly after 8 am. Traffic will be shut down for an unspecified amount of time which will impact today’s morning commute.
Drivers are being asked to consider alternate routes of travel. Linden police officers said a short time ago, one lane of traffic could open soon.
