47-year-old woman shot in Swissvale, suspect in custody

SWISSVALE, PA – Police have arrested a man wanted for the shooting of a 47-year-old woman on Noble Street in Swissvale Tuesday night.

According to the Allegheny County Police Department, officers were dispatched to a shooting in the 2000 block of Noble Street to find a 47-year-old woman had been shot.

She was rushed to the hospital for a gunshot wound to the hospital and was reported in stable condition.

Detectives investigating the shooting learned the gunman was 34-yearold Lawrence Brock.

Detectives obtained a warrant for Brock’s arrest, charging him with aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person, criminal mischief, and carrying a firearm without a license. On Wednesday, Brock turned himself in to the Swissvale Police. He is being held at the Allegheny County Jail.
