North Jersey go-go bar workers busted in undercover sting

AJ's go-go bar in Secaucus.

SECAUCUS, NJ – Three people were arrested during an undercover police operation at Aj’s go-go bar in Secaucus this week. According to police, the three arrests were made after undercover police officers were offered sexual favors in exchange for money.

One of those suspects, Lara M. Murad was also charged with possession of cocaine.

The investigation was launched after reports of cocaine being dealt at the business and claims of prostitution.

In December, nine people were arrested for charges ranging from cocaine distribution and prostitution, police said.

“The Secaucus Police Department will continue to investigate every complaint from our citizenry,” Chief Dennis Miller said. “I commend the efforts of our investigative personnel for their continued hard work. I am hopeful that our criminal justice system and State Alcohol Beverage Control Board will hold those responsible for allowing this criminal activity to continue, accountable.”
