Baltimore police investigating overnight double shooting in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD – Detectives in Baltimore are investigating a double shooting that left one victim dead and sent a second to the hospital early Wednesday morning. According to police, at around 12:34 am, an officer responded to a 911 shooting call in the area of North Milton Avenue and McElderry Street.

Police located a 34-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the leg lying on the ground. He was transported to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers located a second victim inside an apartment nearby on Rose Street. The man was shot in the chest and unconscious. Efforts to revive him were unsuccessful, and he was declared deceased at the scene.
