Thieves target Wyckoff jewelry store in latest New Jersey smash and grab

WYCKOFF, NJ – Police in New Jersey are reporting a second violent smash-and-grab robbery at a jewelry store in Wyckoff hours before another smash-and-grab robbery in Jersey City was caught on camera. Once again, the suspects were caught on video, this time through surveillance video cameras.

According to Wyckoff police department detectives, at around 12:25 am, officers responded to a burglary alarm at Devon Fine Jewelry at 303 Franklin Avenue.

When the officers arrived, they found the front glass door shattered and the showcases inside the business broken and pillaged.

Surveillance video shows the men getting out of a red Honda Accord and using a gray garbage barrel to smash through the front door to gain entry. They used the garbage can to remove their haul from inside the business.
