Teen arrested for bringing loaded ghost gun to Central High School

CAPITOL HEIGHTS, MD – A 16-year-old student at Central High School in Capitol Heights was arrested after he brought a loaded gun to school Tuesday.

A student was arrested by the Prince George’s County Police Department Tuesday morning for possessing a handgun on the premises of Central High School. 

The School Resource Officer and security personnel at Prince George’s County Public Schools were alerted shortly after 10:00 am by a teacher that a 16-year-old male student was armed. An un-serialized ghost gun (loaded) was recovered from the jacket of that student.

He was taken into custody. The student is charged with having a loaded handgun on his person, possessing a dangerous weapon on school property, and possessing a firearm while he is a minor.
