Woman stabbed and killed in Harlem Sunday night

NEW YORK, NY – Detectives with the New York City Police Department are investigating the stabbing death of a woman inside a Harlem apartment Sunday night.

According to the NYPD, officers responded to an assault call at around 5:40 pm at an apartment building near West 135th Street and Adam Clayton Powell Boulevard.

The woman was rushed to the hospital with a stab wound to the neck. She was later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.

No aspects have been announced, and no arrests have been made.
