Man shot and killed outside NYC Bodega as 9-year-old daughter watched

NEW YORK, NY – A man shot outside a Manhattan bodega on Thursday was pronounced dead after getting into an argument with another man inside the store.

Tykeem Berry, 30, was inside the bodega on Nagle Avenue in the Inwood neighborhood of Manhattan.

Berry was with his 9-year-old daughter when he was shot in the chest by the unknown gunman, who then fled the scene.

He was rushed to a nearby hospital but was pronounced dead a short time later. The child was not physically injured during the incident.
