NUTLEY, NJ — The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office has announced the arrest of Nutley Fire Chief Henry Meola. The arrest comes after the chief was caught in a YouTube video called “Catching a Fireman Pred at Walmart” on the OBL Nation channel.

Meola was set to meet a 14-year-old child in Nutley and was confronted by police officers and the township attorney.

Today, the North Bergen Police Department, the Nutley Police Department, and the HCPO Special Victims Unit have arrested a Nutley Fire Chief on attempted luring charges.

Meola serves as the Nutley fire chief. He also served as a past president of the Nutley Volunteer Emergency and Rescue Squad.
