Nearly a dozen people injured in early morning fire in Queens

NEW YORK, NY – Details are still being made available, but what is known at this time is that 11 people were injured, including three firefighters at a house fire in the Whitestone section of Queens Wednesday morning.

The two-alarm fire was reported at 147-14 23rd Avenue in Queens at around 6:25 am. The two story duplex was fully engulfed. Three people were reportedly critically injured in the blaze.

FDNY said multiple families occupied the residence.
