Man shot and killed inside Trenton apartment

TRENTON, NJ – Homicide detectives in Trenton are investigating a Monday afternoon shooting that let one man dead.

According to police, at around 4:07 p.m., officers responded to an apartment in the 100 block of South Overbrook Avenue on a report of an unresponsive male involved in a shooting.

When police arrived they found 29-year-old Donnell Williams dead on the living room floor of the apartment suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Upon arrival, officers located the apartment’s resident on the living room floor with an apparent gunshot wound. The victim, identified as Donnell Williams, 29, was pronounced dead at the scene.
