Cortland woman wins $50k on lottery scratch-off ticket

CORTLAND, OH – A Cortland woman has won a second-tier prize on a lottery scratch-off ticket.

Sheila Walsh from Cortland won $50,000 when she scratched off Bingo Times 25 from the Ohio Lottery.

As a result of state and federal taxes totaling 28 percent, Sheila will receive $36,000. She purchased her winning ticket from BP Mahoning-Champion in Warren, located at 5710 Mahoning Avenue.

As of January 18, 2023, there is one top prize remaining in Bingo Times 25, a $5 scratch-off game with a top prize of $100,000.
