Police light at the scene of an emergency.

PASADENA, MD – A Pasadena woman was assaulted with an end table inside a residence on Willing Court early Friday morning.

Police responded to the home at around 2 am on Friday after officers received a hang-up 911 call from that address.

While police were on their way to the home, a second 911 call came in stating that a woman had been stabbed inside the residence.

When police arrived, the female victim indicated that she was attacked by a female suspect while inside in the residence.

“The victim went on to tell officers that the suspect charged at her while wielding a knife and sustained superficial injuries,” the Anne Arundel County Police Department said today. “The suspect alleged that the victim punched her repeatedly and hit her with a nightstand.”

Police arrested and charged Barbara Nicole Carter, 39, and Stephany Elaine Witt, 53.
