D.C. Police Investigating Man Shot By Stray Bullet

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Last night a man was shot in Southeast, D.C. by a stray bullet.

Shortly before 9 pm, the Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department arrived at the 2400 Block of Pomeroy Road to investigate the shooting report. Police found the man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was brought to a nearby hospital and was breathing and conscious.

An initial investigation revealed that the man was not the target intended in the shooting.
