Fire shuts down Toms River Burger King

TOMS RIVER, NJ – Firefighters from the Toms River Fire Department responded to a fire inside the Burger King restaurant on Route 37 and Bowling Green at around 5 pm on Friday.

The extent of the damage is unknown at this time, but the building department has since deemed the structure unsafe at this time.

Toms River Fire Companies 1 and 2 responded to the fire.

A sign at the drive-in window today read, “Temporarily closed until further notice.”

It is unknown when the location will reopen for business.
