Greenwich Village purse snatcher sought by police

NEW YORK, NY – A Greenwich Village purse snatcher is being sought by detectives with the NYPD’s 6th Precinct after using a woman’s credit cards illegally.

The robbery happened on Sunday, December 18, at approximately 1 am inside of 55 Little West 12 Street.

According to police, the unknown suspect removed a wallet from a 25-year-old female’s bag without permission or authority.

On Sunday, police noted that the suspect had since used the victim’s credit cards for unauthorized purchases.

The suspect is still at large.

Detectives are now asking the public to assist in identifying the suspect wanted for this crime.
