Norwood man wins million dollar jackpot on scratch-off ticket

NORWOOD, OH  – A Norwood man will be getting a nice bonus in the form of $36,000 free and clear every year for the next 20 years.

Donald Philpot of Norwood is celebrating a $1 million win on the Ohio Lottery scratch-off Billion. Donald chose the annuity of $50,000 a year for 20 years. After mandatory state and federal tax totaling 28 percent, he will receive  $36,000 a year for 20 years.

Donald purchased his winning ticket at Hyde Park BP, located at 2696 Madison Rd in Cincinnati.

Billion is a $50 scratch-off with a top prize of $1 million a year for 20 years. As of January 30, 2023, there are four top prizes remaining in the game.
