Three injured in Sunday afternoon Bronx fire

NEW YORK, NY – Firefighters responded to a structure fire in the Bronx at around 2 pm on Sunday at 1211 Evergreen Avenue.

FDNY Deputy Chief Donlevy said three people were injured in the fire he described as “intensive”.

One of those victims was listed as being in critical condition.

“Units did their searches, and the fire ended up producing three injuries, one serious; they are all being evaluated at this time,” Chief Donlevy said.

The two-alarm fire is under investigation by FDNY Fire Marshals.
