Pedestrian struck and killed on Route 9 in Freehold

Freehold, NJ – Police are investigating a fatal crash involving a pedestrian on Route 9 Monday night. According to police,m the incident happened near the intersection of Throckmorton Lane and Route 9.

The crash occurred at around 7pm in the southbound lanes.

The unidentified victim was pronounced dead at the scene. No further details have been released at this time.
