Human remains found near Stevenson University Campus

Owings Mills, MD – Human remains were discovered in a brush area along the 11000 block of Owings Mills Road across the street from the campus of Stevenson University.

At this time, police have not identified the body.

On Monday, at 2:45 p.m., detectives with the Baltimore County Police Department were called to the area on the report of a human body in brush along the road.

“The detectives were called to the location regarding human remains discovered in the brush area a short distance from the roadway. Currently, the person’s identity is unknown,” the Baltimore County Police Department reported. “The remains have been taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, where efforts will be made to positively identify the deceased person. “
