D.C. Shooting Leaves 27-Year-Old Man Dead

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred on Friday evening in Southeast D.C.

Police arrived at the 1900 block of 18th Street just before 6 pm to investigate a shooting report. At the location, police found the shooting victim. After all, attempts to save him were made, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim was identified as 27-year-old Melvin Henderson, of D.C.
