Police investigating shooting incident in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, MD – Police in Brooklyn, Maryland are seeking the public’s help in getting to the bottom of a shooting incident Saturday morning in the 500 block of Wood Street.

At around 3:00 a.m., officers responded to a report of shots being fired in the 500 block of Wood Street in Brooklyn.

“The caller directed officers to the area where the caller observed the shots being fired. Officers found unspent cartridges on the ground. Contact was made with the occupants of the residence where the cartridges were located; they denied involvement,” police said.

According to a preliminary investigation, officers could not locate any victims or property damage due to the shooting.
