Pedestrian struck twice and killed in Rosedale

ROSEDALE, MD – A 32-year-old man was struck and killed on Monday while walking in the roadway along Pulaski Highway, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.

The Baltimore County Police Department Crash Team continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding a fatal pedestrian accident which occurred on Monday, February 13, in Rosedale.

At approximately 6:35 am, a 2012 Volkswagen was traveling westbound on Pulaski Highway approaching Berk Avenue when a pedestrian entered the roadway. The Volkswagen and the dump truck struck the pedestrian, and both drivers remained at the scene.

As a result of the crash, the pedestrian, 32-year-old Andrew M. Nelson, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
